CAMPAIGN PRIORITIES
Prevent Lower-Level Flooding
Investment: $400,000
Exterior repointing is essential to protect our building from water intrusion, especially with New York City’s increasing rainfall. Strengthening the building’s exterior helps prevent lower-level flooding, ensuring a stable, reliable environment for our children and staff. This proactive measure not only supports uninterrupted learning but also reinforces our commitment to sustainability by reducing the need for costly repairs in the future.
Ensure a Comfortable Learning Environment
Investment: $1.4 Million
Creating a comfortable learning environment is essential for our children and teachers. Upgrading our HVAC system will ensure a welcoming, climate-controlled space year-round. The project will unfold in three phases: assessments, gymnasium cooling, and main building upgrades. Our campaign will fund Phase 1 and Phase 2, aiming for completion by summer 2026 to provide a fully cooled building for the 2026-2027 academic year, supporting the health and well-being of our community.
Revitalize Our Cherished Greenspace
Investment: $700,000
Revitalizing our playground will transform our outdoor learning space, addressing flooding issues, improving drainage, and upgrading equipment to meet children’s needs. These enhancements will create a safe, engaging area that fosters physical and cognitive development, inspiring exploration and a strong connection with nature. This project preserves our cherished greenspace, ensuring a vibrant and inclusive outdoor environment for all Plymouth Church School children.
“Plymouth Church School has been a cherished part of our family and a cornerstone of our community, nurturing our children’s curiosity and growth. As a parent, I believe it is important to invest in our beloved building to ensure its legacy and continue supporting our young children for years to come.”
